Alltech Sponsor Student Attendance at International Congress on Animal Reproduction

[Dublin, IRELAND] – Global animal health and nutrition company, Alltech, will both sponsor and exhibit at ICAR 2008: 16th International Congress on Animal Production, taking place in Budapest from 13-17 July 2008.

In addition to overall event sponsorship, Alltech will provide financial assistance to support the attendance of three PhD students or early career researchers at the event. The 2008 Alltech Biotechnology grant recipients are:

  • Ian Martin (Brazil)
  • Armin Towhidi (Iran)
  • Malgorzata Klimowicz (Poland)

Congratulating the winners, Marc Larousse, vice president for Alltech Europe, said, “These travel grants offer exciting learning experiences to the recipients. At Alltech we are committed to the development and promotion of talent among today’s young scholars from around the world.”

Alltech will also sponsor the “trace minerals and reproduction” poster session which takes place during the course of the conference.
