[Dublin, IRELAND] – Alltech, a global leader in animal health and nutrition, and equine-nutrition specialist, Cavalor, have announced Cavalor as the official Belgium feed partner for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010.

Announcing the feed partnership agreement in Belgium today, Marc Larousse, Vice President Alltech Europe, welcomed Cavalor on-board. “The feed partnership agreement exemplifies Cavalor’s commitment to excellence in all areas of animal health and nutrition. The agreement offers Cavalor a unique opportunity to work with Alltech and its network of international feed partners”, he said. Peter Bollen, Managing Director Cavalor, and Paul Van der Linden, Chairman Board of Directors, Versele Nutrition (Cavalor Feed), were present at the announcement. “We are delighted to take part in this prestigious event. We look forward to working with Alltech and believe that this strategic partnership will help to strengthen our brand globally,” said Mr. Bollen.

International show-jumper Jos Lansink, also present, added his consensus. Lansink, world champion at the 2006 FEI World Equestrian Games in Aachen with Cavalor Cumano, is an advocate of Cavalor’s nutritional, feed and care products.

This partnership will see Cavalor working in close collaboration with Alltech in preparation for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010. The Games will be held in Lexington, Kentucky from 25 September to 10 October 2010. This 16-day competition will see riders from around the world compete in eight equestrian disciplines, namely show-jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, reining and para-equestrian.
