As part of its expansion the MIS department is currently seeking qualified applicants for 3rd shift Data Center Operations Support

Responsibilities:
- Business critical systems support - part of a team that provides 24 hour global IT support to internal employees and external customers.
- 1st level database support and monitoring for SQL Database.
- 1st level network infrastructure support and escalation.
- Server monitoring and maintenance.
- Hardware configuration and operating system deployments and escalation for HP, IBM, and Cisco equipment.
- Facilitate IT security incidents via Incident Management process. Perform system backups using Windows backup utility & tape library storage.
- Technical writing: upkeep of documentation on standards, execution, enforcement & maintenance processes
Requirements:
- Proficient in Windows Server operating systems required (1-3 yr experience)
- Basic understanding of Network topologies, devices, protocols, etc. required.
- Basic understanding of Storage Area Networks (SAN) or other storage technologies a plus
- Industry certifications (A+, MCP, MCSE, etc.) a plus
- Must be customer service oriented, able to multi-task, work independently or with a team.
- A "CAN DO" attitude, willing to do what it takes to get the job done is ideal for this position
